Shipping and Delivery

Deliveries are organised and managed by our logistic partner and made by third party carriers to the mainland of the United Kingdom, Scottish Highlands, Northern Ireland and British Islands (except Channel Islands). Vine&Cork delivers wine sold on its site exclusively to “consumers” aged 18 or over and in any case still under applicable law and regulations (see our Terms & Conditions page for more details on use restrictions).




1.1. All deliveries are arranged and shipped directly from our storage facility to the final customer at the delivery address provided. All products purchased under the same order number will be grouped and shipped together under one consignment. Delivery time slots between separate shipments may differ from one another and managed by our third party couriers.

1.2. We use APC Overnight for all our deliveries. They provide a fast and reliable delivery service and all the tracking facilities electronically. Once your order has been completed and shipped you will receive a confirmation email with consignment number and tracking link you can use, to monitor the status of your delivery at all times. The APC Direct app is also available for download from the Apple iTunes and Google Play App Stores and can be used for parcel tracking and delivery purpose.

1.3. We only accept orders for delivery to physical addresses. We do not accept orders for delivery to P.O. boxes.

1.4. If you receive packages by the couriers used by Vine&Cork visibly damaged, cracked or stained by any leakage from broken bottles of wine, please reject the shipment to the sender and Vine&Cork will take care of the return of the shipping. If the shipment is composed by more packages and not all of them are damaged, please refuse the damaged package to the sender signing the bill of the courier with “conditional”, and get in contact with us using one of the contact methods provided on your order receipt. The shipping courier will return the damaged package and Vine&Cork will arrange to replace it for you. If the product that should be replaced is exhausted, we will contact you directly to find a solution with an equivalent or higher value product for the replacement, or credit the residual value of your order back to you. The shipping costs for returning the damaged package and sending the replacement to you will be borne by Vine&Cork.

1.5. Please note that, after receipt, an order becomes “in process” only once we have received full payment in cleared funds and can then arrange for packing and delivery. Delivery can only be made to the shipping address which you specify when ordering.

1.6. Delivery is also subject to the delivery conditions in the FAQs on our website.




2.1. We make every effort to ensure orders are delivered on time, all delivery dates and times are only estimates and not guarantees. If the wine is in stock and the order is received and processed by noon on a working day, we make sure the goods are shipped within the same day. For orders received and processed after noon on a working day, we will aim to ship the goods within the next working day. In the event of high volume of orders, we might occasionally extend the delivery window so that we can keep our promise to each customer.

2.2. Our standard delivery service to all UK Mainland addresses takes 2 to 3 working days (Monday to Friday) from the time the order has been processed. Alternative weekend, named day or express delivery services may be available, depending on the delivery address and postcode. Please see options provided during the checkout procedure after you have confirmed the shipping postcode. Please note that deliveries to the Scottish Highlands, Northern Ireland and British Islands can take an extra 2 to 3 working days. We do not deliver to the Channel Islands. 2.4. For the execution of the delivery, the following data are essential:

2.4.2. Delivery data (delivery name and address), telephone number and e-mail.

2.5. The cost of shipment is listed with each order and calculated at the time of checkout. Please see delivery cost table below for more details. Deliveries are available only for the countries indicated on the website, but we suggest you contact us directly at if you wish to place an order for a different country. Vine&Cork periodically updates the list of countries, so we recommend checking the availability of the delivery before the completion of your purchasing order

2.7. An extra delivery charge may become payable if no-one is present repeatedly to accept delivery and either you haven’t provided alternative delivery instructions or else you don’t make reasonable efforts to collect the item from a holding depot.

2.8. All alcohol goods that are shipped within the UK are subject to import duties, fees levied by custom (“Import Fees”). The exact amount of all duties and import taxes for the purchase are included in the net price of the goods, as detailed in the checkout page and will have to be paid by the client. Vine&Cork does not make any profit from these Import Fees and guarantees to calculate the exact amount due by the customer for each shipment.
